Job Title: Armed Security Officer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in law enforcement or armed security and a strong commitment to upholding safety standards. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our property, assets, and personnel while maintaining a professional presence. Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect and deter security threats, ensuring a high level of vigilance in all areas.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, ensuring the protection of individuals and assets.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed and accurate reports of security-related incidents, including investigations, actions taken, and outcomes.
• Collaboration with Authorities: Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, ensuring coordinated and efficient responses to security situations.
• Policy Enforcement: Enforce company security policies and procedures to maintain order and safety in a consistent and professional manner.
• Conflict Resolution: Effectively manage confrontations and de-escalate potential threats through verbal communication and tactical intervention when required.

Qualifications:

• Licensing Requirements: Valid Wisconsin Security License and Wisconsin Concealed Carry License (CCL) are required, or must be obtained
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of armed security experience.
• Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (2 years).
• Skills & Abilities:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and make decisive decisions in high-pressure or dangerous situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and the public.
• Ability to operate security equipment, such as surveillance systems, radios, and alarms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience with advanced security systems or previous military service is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to respond to emergencies, including physical confrontations and evacuations.
